Family Dedication is a special moment for parents, grandparents, and family members to bring a child before the church and publicly pledge to raise them in a godly, Christ-centered home.

This service is not a statement of the child’s salvation. Salvation is a personal decision each person must make when they are ready to place their faith in Jesus, repent, confess Him as Lord, and be baptized.

Family Dedication is about the commitment of the family. It is a pledge to pray for the child, teach them God’s Word, model what it means to follow Jesus, and help them to grow into a relationship with Jesus.

During the service, participating families will be invited forward for a brief time of commitment and prayer. As a church family, we will also affirm our desire to encourage, support, and pray for these families as they lead the next generation toward Christ.

All parents, grandparents, or guardians who desire to dedicate themselves to raising a child in a Christian home can participate in this special moment.
