“Feeding Faith: Helping the Kids in Your Life Build a Faith That Lasts”
This workshop is for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, Kids Ministry volunteers, and any adult who has the opportunity to influence a child’s faith.
In this practical workshop, we’ll explore the E.A.T. framework—Education, Application, and Transformation—and how each piece helps children develop a faith that goes beyond simply knowing Bible stories.
You’ll leave with simple, ready-to-use ideas for helping the kids in your life know God’s truth, live it out in everyday life, and make room for God to work in their hearts.
No teaching experience required—just a desire to help lead the next generation toward Jesus.
Leader: Chantel Little
Times: 6PM & 7PM
“More Than a Volunteer: Serving as a Minister of Jesus”
Serving in the church is about more than filling a position or completing a task. Every person who serves has the opportunity to represent Jesus, care for others, and help move the mission of the church forward.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the difference between simply volunteering and serving as a minister of Christ. Participants will be encouraged to recognize the spiritual importance of their role, serve with the right attitude, use their God-given gifts faithfully, and learn to see the people behind every task.
Whether you serve in children’s ministry, worship, safety, care, technology, or any other area, this workshop will help you approach your role with greater purpose, faithfulness, and joy.
Leader: Andy Miles
Times: 6PM & 7PM
“Apps and Appetizers”
Technology can be confusing—but it doesn’t have to be. Join us for a fun, practical workshop where we’ll explore the basics of technology, helpful apps, and everyday tools that can make life and ministry easier.
Whether you’re wondering how to use an app on your phone, looking for better ways to organize your life, or wanting to use technology more effectively in ministry, this workshop is for you.
Come hungry for appetizers, bring your questions, and leave with practical tools and tips you can use right away! Bring your favorite app and your tech questions!
Leader: Andy Giles
Times: 6PM & 7PM
“Hard People, Holy Responses”
Every ministry has challenging moments—and challenging people. This practical workshop will help you navigate difficult interactions with greater wisdom, patience, and grace.
We’ll explore how to respond to angry, demanding, or critical people without allowing emotions to take over; how to respond rather than react; and how to discern when a situation calls for listening, intervention, or involving leadership.
You’ll also learn how to maintain a Christ-centered attitude while establishing healthy, appropriate boundaries.
Whether you’re serving in a ministry role, volunteering, or simply navigating difficult relationships, you’ll leave with practical tools to handle challenging situations with confidence, compassion, and wisdom.
